    no knives at camp?

    I'm not involved in the GSA, but parent of one of my Webelos scouts said the GS camp instructions for her 13 yo daughter said "no knives" including pocket knives I'm sure.

    True?

    Whats up?

    Is this across the nation or a local thing?

      It is most likely a local thing.

      Perhaps for that one particular GSUSA camp program.

      An theater camp, where the girls stay in lodge bunks, and have their meals prepared for them, would have no need for the girls to carry any kind of knife.
